Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Psalm 62:5–8, which says, “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 7:57–65, where Nehemiah records the names of those who returned from Babylon to Judah.
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 13:1–9, where our Lord says, “Behold, the sower went out to sow ….”
Our Bible study is titled “God’s Will for Us,” presented by Dan Stout.
Our congregational songs will include the following:
- Dear Refuge of My Weary Soul (HG #52)
- It Is Well with My Soul (HG #407)
- The Sands of Time Are Sinking (HG #427)
- By Faith (HG #361)
- Whate’er My God Ordains Is Right (HG #66)
Our benediction comes from Philippians 4:8–9, which says, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is dignified, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, consider these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you..”
All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
