Event Series: Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

September 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Open Bible on table

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Psalm 45:17, which says, “I will cause Your name to be remembered from generation to every generation; therefore the peoples will give You thanks forever and ever.”

Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 8:13–18, which says, “Then on the second day the heads of fathers’ households of all the people, the priests and the Levites were gathered to Ezra the scribe that they might gain insight into the words of the law.”

Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 13:31–35, which says of our Lord, “All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He was not speaking to them without a parable so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, ‘I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.’”

Our Bible study comes from Romans 9, which asks, “Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?”

Our congregational songs will include the following:

  • O King, You Are Most Worthy (PG #45)
  • Wonderful Words of Life (HWC #270)
  • What Wondrous Love Is This (HG #190)
  • I Must Tell Jesus (HWC #430)
  • O Father, You Are Sovereign (HG #17)

Our benediction comes from Romans 15:33, which says, “Now may the God of peace be with you all. Amen.”

All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
