Event Series: Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

June 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Open Bible on table

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Micah 4:1–2, which says, “Now it will be that in the last days the mountain of the house of Yahweh will be established as the head of the mountains, and will be lifted up above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it.”

Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 5:6–13, where Nehemiah laments, “I consulted within my own heart and contended with the nobles and the officials and said to them, ‘You are exacting usury, each from his brother!’ Therefore, I held a great assembly against them.”

Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 11:1–19, where our Lord says, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who does not take offense at Me.”

Our Bible study comes from Ecclesiastes 12:9–14, which says, “The end of the matter, all that has been heard: fear God and keep His commandments, because this is the end of the matter for all mankind.”

Our congregational songs will include the following:

  • Jesus Is Lord (HG #102)
  • When Trials Come (HG #79)
  • O Christ, Our Hope, Our Heart’s Desire (HG #203)
  • Jesus! What a Friend for Sinners (HG #206)
  • Doxology (OWENS) (HG #439)

Our benediction comes from 2 Peter 3:18, which says, “but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”

All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
