Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Daniel 4:1–3, which says, “How great are His signs, and how strong are His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 4:15–23, which says, “Now it happened that when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had thwarted their counsel, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work.”
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 10:24–33, where our Lord says to His apostles, “Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”
Our Bible study comes from Ecclesiastes 10, which says, “Dead flies make a perfumer’s oil stink, so a little simpleminded folly is weightier than wisdom and honor.”
Our congregational songs will include the following:
- To God Be the Glory (HG #19)
- Lead On, O King Eternal (HG #124)
- I Run to Christ (HG #166)
- I’d Rather Have Jesus (HG #379)
- King of the Ages (HG #117)
All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
