Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Colossians 3:16–17, which says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratefulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 9:16–19, which says of God’s work toward His people in the Exodus, “But You, in Your abundant compassion, Did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on their way, Nor the pillar of fire by night, To light for them the way in which they were to go.”

Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 13:53–58, which says, “And they were taking offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, ‘A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.’”

Our Bible study comes from Romans 10:11–21, which states, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”

All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
