Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Colossians 1:15–20, which says of our Lord Jesus, “For in Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Ezra 9:1–4, which says, “When I heard about this matter, I tore my garment and my robe, and pulled some of the hair from my head and my beard, and sat down in consternation.”
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 6:25–34, where our Lord says, “And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.”
Our Bible study comes from Ecclesiastes 2:12–26 on the joy that comes from God to those who please Him.
Our congregational songs will include the following:
- All Creatures of Our God and King (HG #11)
- Not in Me (HG #405)
- I Hear the Words of Love (HG #195)
- Be Still, My Soul (HG #60)
- All Your Anxiety (HG #411)
Our benediction comes from 2 Thessalonians 3:16, which says, “Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually give you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!”
All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
