Event Series: Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

August 30 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Open Bible on table

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Psalm 37:27–28, which says, “my tongue shall utter Your righteousness and Your praise all day long.”

Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 7:66–73, which says, “So the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities.”

Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 13:10–17, where our Lord says, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”

We will hear a report from the Gideons International.

Our Bible study of Israelology continues with a study in Romans.

Our congregational songs will include the following:

  • O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing (HG #136)
  • May Jesus Christ Be Praised (HWC #87)
  • Our Great Savior (HWC #89)
  • Every Promise of Your Word (HG #363)
  • Benediction (HG #438)

All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
