Sunday Morning
Our opening Scripture reading comes from Psalm 8, which says, “O Yahweh, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who displays Your splendor above the heavens!”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 9:1–6, which says, “Now on the twenty-fourth day of this month the sons of Israel gathered with fasting, in sackcloth and with dirt upon them.”
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 13:36–43, where our Lord says, “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the fiery furnace; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Our Bible study comes from Romans 9:30–10:4, which states, “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”
