Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Ephesians 1:3–6, which says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 5:4–19, where Nehemiah pleads, “Remember me, O my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.”
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 11:20–30, where our Lord says, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
We will share the Lord’s Table, proclaiming His death until He comes.
Our Bible study will be from Luke 18–19, “Jesus Finds His Sheep,” presented by Ryan Connellan, pastor for Emmanuel Baptist Church in Glenwood, New South Wales, Australia.
Our congregational songs will include the following:
- God of Our Fathers (HG #431)
- Across the Lands (HG #198)
- The Communion Hymn (HG #343)
- Christ the Lord Is Risen Today (HG #312)
- Amazing Grace! How Sweet the Sound (HG #89)
Our benediction comes from Philemon 25, which says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.”
All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
