Sunday Morning

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Luke 1:68–75, which says, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He visited and accomplished redemption for His people.”
Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 6:10–19, where Nehemiah records, “So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.”
Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 12:9–21, where our Lord says, “What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
Our Bible study will be on the identity and nature of Israel throughout the Bible and across history.
Our congregational songs will include the following:
- Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus (HG #216)
- O Great God (HG #35)
- Complete in Thee (HG #112)
- Oh, How He Loves You and Me (HG #157)
- All Glory Be to Christ (HG #133)
Our benediction comes from 2 Thessalonians 3:5, which says, “And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.”
All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
