Event Series: Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

June 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Open Bible on table

Our opening Scripture reading comes from Acts 3:18–21, which says, “the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.”

Our reading of the Old Testament comes from Nehemiah 4:7–14, where Nehemiah says to the people concerning their enemies, “Do not fear them; remember the Lord who is great and fearsome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

Our reading of the New Testament comes from Matthew 10:16–23, where our Lord says to His apostles, “But whenever they persecute you in this city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.”

Our Bible study comes from Ecclesiastes 9:11–18, which says, “I again saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the mighty, and neither is bread to the wise nor riches to the discerning nor favor to men who know; for time and misfortune overtake them all.”

We will share the Lord’s Table, proclaiming His death until He comes.

Our congregational songs will include the following:

  • Look, Ye Saints, The Sight Is Glorious (HG #127)
  • All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name (HG #143)
  • See the Destined Day Arise (HG #298)
  • Christ Arose! (HG #307)
  • Benediction (HG #438)

All ages are welcome to attend and participate. We have an area for parents to work with needy children as well as space for nursing mothers.
